Blooms & Beats: Bouquets of Kindness
Come and spend a couple of hours surrounded by flowers, creativity and good company as part of Blooms & Beats: Listening to Layton.
In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you'll create two beautiful dried flower bouquets:
💐 One to take home and keep🌸 One to give away as a little act of kindness in the Layton community
Your community bouquet will carry a special wooden tag inviting the person who receives it to share their thoughts about Layton too, helping our little bunch of flowers start another conversation somewhere in the community.
There's no experience needed and we'll provide all the flowers, materials and guidance. Just come along, get creative and enjoy yourself.
🎧 But there's a little more to this workshop...
Blooms & Beats is about finding a different way to listen to local people.
We believe people don't remember being surveyed. They remember how you made them feel.
So while we're creating, we'll also be chatting about Layton: what people love, what could be better and what you'd like to see happen in the future.
As part of your free place, we'll ask you to complete a short Community Voices questionnaire. What you tell us will contribute to the evidence being gathered to help inform future Pride in Place investment in Layton.
🌸 Your free place includes:
All dried flowers and materials
Guidance to create two bouquets
One bouquet to take home
One (or more) bouquet for community gifting
Refreshments
Plenty of flower-filled chat and good company
Cost: FREE
