Printable 1:1 Nature Activities for Older People

£15.00Price

Our 1:1 Care Cards are professionally designed printable wellbeing activity cards created to support meaningful, person-centred one-to-one interaction with older adults and people who benefit from gentle, low-pressure engagement.

Our nature activities for older people are ideal for use in care homes, supported living, home care, and family settings, particularly where dignity, emotional safety, and individual choice are central to good care practice.

Each card offers an open-ended prompt that encourages conversation, reminiscence, sensory engagement, or calm shared activity. There is no “right” way to use them allowing carers, support workers, and families to adapt each interaction to the individual’s needs, mood, energy levels, and care plan.

Designed with Care Standards in Mind

These cards have been developed with a clear understanding of CQC expectations and care sector responsibilities, supporting:

  • Person-centred care

  • Dignity, respect, and choice

  • Emotional wellbeing and connection

  • Safe, inclusive engagement

Careful consideration has been given to avoiding patronising language, reducing pressure or overwhelm, and ensuring activities remain adaptable for people with cognitive decline, sensory sensitivities, reduced mobility, or fluctuating capacity.

They are intended to support good care practice, not replace professional judgement, and can be confidently used alongside care plans, activity schedules, and wellbeing goals.
